Steps to Fix Report and Package link break after deployment in Cognos 10.2.1

1. Take back of the ‘system.xml’ file  before making changes from cognos Installation directory \templates\ps
2. Open ‘system.xml’ file with notepad and add following text at the end before ‘</system>’ as shown below and save the file.
<param name="updateTargetObjectWhenOverwrite">true</param>
3. Open the ‘Cognos Configuration’ and  restart the IBM Cognos Services.
